Festival of Trees

It was so beautiful, I have never seen so many Christmas trees in my life. This Fairy tree was one of my favorites, and there are more pictures of the gorgeous and fun trees later.

Logan and I tried to go to the park this morning, but it was freezing cold especially with the wind I found out later it was about 5 degrees. Then Grandma Helen invited us to go to the Festival of Trees with my Aunt Miriam and my cousin June who's boy, Austin, is Logan's age. We were glad Grandma saved us from a day of boredom.

Before we left Grandma was deciding what to wear to the Messiah tonight because she wouldn't have time when we got back. She walked out all fancy wearing these huge earrings and I laughed. We vetoed them because would distract from the soloist who she sits right under with the other flutes. But they are clip ons so Logan got to wear them a little and he sure liked them. When I am taking the picture he looks at the camera with his "I'm cute, and I know it" pose.
Before walking all over for two hours at the convention center we went to eat all we could at Sweet Tomatoes buffet. By that time we all felt like being pushed in a wheelchair like Grandma Carey, as June said. Logan and Austin were the cutest boys sitting together at the end of the table and eating plate after plate. Austin was always tring to feed Logan his pizza or cucumbers, and Logan just kep eating and eating. Nobody could believe that they ate so much although it was really nice because they were both so good and quiet the whole meal, eating as much as we did. There were concequences later, however, when we drove over the mountain back to Alpine Logan was eating an apple, and it was just too much food to keep in with the bumpy ride. He started saying, "Owie" and then he threw up right before we got home. What was funny is that later we were telling Grandpa what happened and as I was describing all the food Logan ate and how he just coughed it all up, Logan looked at me and opened his mouth to throw up a lot more. I was almost out of clothes by then, but we found some deep in the diaper bag.

Miriam's favorite tree, Breath of Heaven, was one I liked also, with a row of tutu's aong one side and that cute chair.
Great Grandma Carey and Logan got free rides. By the end we were all shuffled out and wanting rides, as Miriam said.
June's favorite.
Mom's choice if she was going to buy one, because of the statue that you would have when the tree was gone.

A kid favorite.

The Madame Tussou Tree, that was so nice of that lady to give up her whole doll collection. I am sure it sold for a lot.
The Book of Mormon tree was gorgeous with liahonas and everything. It was made for a BOM Dad and had lots of BOM games and cool things underneath.

Actually this was another of Mim's favorites. How cute for a girl's room.
I thought this was really fun and looks cute even with the ice cream theme.
Miriam's Barbie tree from the back. It turned out great, with the pink ribbon, and chair, and was a very popular one with the kids.

A great tree for my Dad.

A Jazz tree, that looked cool.
