When it Rains it Pours

Three milestones were crushed last week as little Loagie finally rolled over from his back to his stomach, first in front of Pete and then in front of Grandma Webb. He's almost seven months old, but better late than never. Logan also got his first tooth, after being really fussy all day Thursday, until finally I noticed it. He already loves brushing his tooth on a regular basis, and I'm sure it stays quite clean. Third, Loagie is getting around on hands and knees, and though sometimes he hops his legs forward, I would pass it off for basic crawling. I was playing violin when I looked over and he was gone. It seems he loves to hide under the dining room table, though I bet that stops as soon as he can stand! Yes I am writing this post at 5:30 am, it being the only time Logan is asleep while Pete is not using the computer. He has this huge paper due Monday that he has to get an A on, so I guess that trumps my need to blog, and I let him take the computer to work. But too much homework makes him do weird things like put Logan in frying pans. We just hope Pete can pull out a 3.0 this semester, to stay in his program.

Happy Halloween

As you can see Logan was a chubby penguin, I was a geisha and I convinced Pete to put on a minimal ninja costume for the Webb Halloween party. On Halloween night we passed out candy to the many toddlers in our neighborhood and then we walked around to look at everyone's decorations. I have to admit the pumpkin is from last year. Logan would never give me enough time to do that. I can't wait till next year when he will trick-0r-treat. Happy Halloween!

October Fun

Logan really enjoys playing in the ball pit with his cousin Julia. It was a great place for him to learn how to sit up on his own, because he could fall down without getting hurt. He actually likes to fall down in the balls. Yesterday I left him in there and he was playing so well all by himself. When I went over to check on him he had fallen down and was all covered with balls, but he was just moving them around over his head, and loving it. Soo cute. Today Logan was dressed up like a missionary in honor of his Uncle Michael. Everyone at church thought he was adorable and wanted to hold him in relief society. In the picture he stood up all by himself-leaning against the door. Logan and I had fun hiking the Y last week with my sister Hallie and her family. It was a new experience riding in the backpack, but he laughed when we started up, and then fell asleep. The backpack was uncomfortable for me, but I can't complain when Hallie carried Julia in a tummy pack when she is pregnant. She is superwoman. Logan always has a stunned look on his face due to the amazing flash of the camera. At least it helps him look at me. We are having a lot of fun this October. Halloween pics are soon to come.

4-months old!

Our little Logan has grown so much bigger. He weighed 18 lbs 7 oz at his 4 month visit, and eats like he is starving. He loves to chill with Dad on the hammock, and chew on all his toys. His eyes have turned a dark brown and he is much tanner than I ever was. He laughs when we tickle him and screamed when Pete made a scary face at him. We love Logan!

Baby Logan

Our son was born May 14, 2008 at 6:36 pm weighing a whopping 8 lbs 15 oz. He was 20.5 inches tall, and we named him Logan Thomas Webb. He has dark hair like I did as a baby, some of my facial features, and legs and feet like Pete. Logan had a little jaundice, but that is gone now thanks to a wonderful Grandma who always took him out in the sun. Pete and I were so excited to finally see him. We were lucky everything went well, and the hospital experience was so great with nice nurses and a super good anesthesiologist, Dr. Lind. My doctor, Dr. Rees did a great job of delivering him with the help of forceps, even though a c-section was very likely (85% chance). Luckily Logan's head molded very well and made it possible for me to deliver him, although it looked quite pointy after he came out. Pete's lil bro prayed that Logan's head would not be so cone-shaped. No worries, it was back to normal the next day. Now Logan is a week old and just loves to eat and sleep and curl up in Daddy's lap. He also loves to take baths. We are so lucky to have such a cute little guy come to our family!

Hey I got a blog!

I have no idea how this works, but I guess I will figure it out by just playing around. It seems like you can do different things from facebook, so that is cool.
