A Night Out

I convinced Pete to go to BYU's alumni dance- the Traditions Ball, in the Hinckley Center. You may be wondering how I got him to go to a dance, but the secret is that we mostly just watched the entertainment, and had great refreshments. The best entertainment was Noteworthy, the female version of Vocal Point, and they had some really funny numbers. We noticed the yearbooks from the 50's 60's and 70's displayed, and I randomly picked one that had Uncle Bob (Robert Webb) in it. Then I looked for Mom, and found her on my third try in '64 - who would've guessed? Can you find her? Mom was easy to pick out in all the orchestra pictures with her big hair, on the front row looking all smart and pretty. Actually my favorite part of the evening was walking out to the gazebo in the stars, and it just reminded me so much of Twilight, so I leaned my neck back and told Pete I was ready for him to bite me. Pete was super embarrassed, because the people next to us heard, but it was just the perfect setting and I could easily imagine some of the couples as vampires. Of course we were not the only ones to think along those lines -I overheard Cullen comments all night. However the only fangs I saw were Cosmo's (but who's really under that costume?). I was worried to leave Logan for so long, but the evening worked out great because Hallie watched Logan in SF where he played with baby Julia, and then went right to sleep when she put him in his crib. When we came home he was sleeping soundly. What a nice night out.

That's really cool and really funny that your Twilight moment was overheard. I can just imagine how embarrassed Pete was, hee hee. He should have been honored:)
